Apiemi is a cinematic hip hop journey through forgiveness, redemption, and identity restored.
Following Theophilus—a story about being called—Apiemi moves deeper into what it means to be forgiven. The title draws from the Greek concept aphiēmi, meaning to forgive, release, and let go. This album captures that transformation in real time.
From the opening moments of Out the Grave, the listener steps into a life pulled out of darkness and into grace. Songs like Grace Found Me and When I Called Your Name reflect the moment everything changes—when mercy meets brokenness. As the album unfolds, gratitude replaces guilt (God Is So Good), dependence replaces pride (I Can’t Imagine My Life Without You, Lord), and a new identity begins to take shape (Not the Same Man).
But Apiemi doesn’t stop at forgiveness—it moves into strength. Tracks like Devil Can’t Have Me and Testify declare freedom and authority, while Throne Room brings the listener into a personal encounter with God.
